I grew up in Oshkosh, which has it’s own species of mayfly. It has this wonderful short lifespan of birth - breed - die and as a kid, literally, you walk down the sidewalk through clouds of these things and hold your breath. It’s worse the closer you get to the lake.

I was serious. For decades a lot of gun control laws hinged on the word in the 2nd Amendment “MILITIA.” Then it was ruled that the word wasn’t really relevant to the rest of the sentence it is in and the floodgates opened (DC vs Heller). One of Scalia’s cases, the gift that keeps on giving.

There are some ways that you just won’t save money - period. They think that they’re saving money doing this but they’re going to spend money based on how this affects people who are in prison. Spend now, spend later (maybe even more $$$ later) you’re not going to save money doing this.
