I’d opine that Othello is a better vehicle; let’ see, Bannon = Iago, we have Trumpthello, and very special guest stars the People of the USA as Desdemona.
and the early scene with the homeschooled kids is more relevant than ever.
Can you imagine if we were two weeks into an Obama administration and Michelle didn’t want to live in the White House? Ungrateful & unpatriotic are two of the kinder terms that I would imagine the conservative media elite would have tossed her way.
Interesting movie to see at that age with a dad.
I have a friend who describes Sarah MacLachlan as office music and that pretty much sums up my enthusiasm for Elizabeth Moss. Check out the film version from 1990 -if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Don’t forget about the original film adaptation of this from the early 1990's. It was quite well done and there’s a BR release of it coming up soon. Natasha Richardson, Robert Duvall, Faye Dunaway and a score by Ryuichi Sakamoto. What’s not to like?

There’s also a book about the African American men who worked at NASA (We Could Not Fail) and there’s some common ground here. I had just finished reading David Halberstam’s “The Children” (about the people who populated the early sit-ins and marches) before reading “We Could Not Fail” and Halberstams’ book is so…
The whole Bernie Bros is a creation of trolls on the right to create divisions on the left.
Why is the weather man announcing a staff change?
I used to manage a hotel, the only people who used the phrase “the customer is always right’’ were people who were trying to get something for nothing. I don’t play video games but you get a star for how you closed your comment.
I certainly agree that one’s mileage may vary on this conversation owing to two factors, where you live and when these things happened. Trying to find a job in 2009 and now are different ballgames altogether, although, again, where you live is going to be a factor in that.
