A sense of hopelessness from watching the Mariners.

While the road trips are great, I do hope we get some stuff of just them chatting. Conversation Street was a good enough “news” replacement that should continue.

Yes. I don’t care if we just get to watch the 3 of them be terrible at using hotels properly - they are always entertaining.

If it were actual Jaguars, I’d watch.

Also, no one cares where they play next season.

If the Raiders lease Memorial Stadium and somehow bail out the UC Regents and their almost-bankrupting of Cal with those moronic stadium renovations and usurious loan choices, they’ll go out of town as conquering heroes, so there’s absolutely no possibility of that option happening.

I love when there is Family Guy news on the Av Club. The threads are always such a wonderful mixture of rage, jealousy, bitterness and self-satisfaction.

Seth MacFarlane is super-talented; and his work is consistently brilliant.

His trenchant cultural criticism attacks not only things that are easy and fun to skewer, such as awful television shows and bad actors, but also society’s sacred cows, such as marriage and parenthood.

Seth MacFarlane is a comedy genius and a renaissance man. And he once again shows that, as a cultural critic, he occupies the moral high ground.  

What’s more, The Orville is brilliant, and is more Star Trek than anything that has been put out on television or in the movies since the end of Voyager.
