That Focus was available as an RS version (215hp, insane insurance premiums similar to an Escort Cosworth), and that is what you should get. Even then, the second generation ST with its Volvo engine is a much, much better overall car.

I mean, come on, the Focus ST this was probably based on has 173hp when it is bone…

The ad says that the car has a 175 horsepower 2.3-litre under its hood, however I can’t find any information to quantify that claim. The stock Duratec four in the ’06 Focus put out 151 horses and I’m not convinced that the Roush cold air intake applied here can account for the additional 24 ponies. Call me a Doubting…
