They tried that already back in the 1980s with the CUCV, which was nothing more than a Chevy Blazer with the same diesel engine and they basically fell apart in military usage. I have hands-on wrenching experience with the Humvee and CUCV from the Mid to late 1990s and the CUCV was pretty terrible overall.

Don’t forget

If your answer to everything is to just cram a big V8 into everything

I would say there is no place for them on today’s trucks as they are just not practical and break the clean lines on modern trucks. The last good looking one were on the second generation lightnings. On the other hand, on older trucks they look like they belong. In my opinion the best looking ones are on the short bed

A Public Service Announcement from the local truck geek:

can a supercar make it up there on a tank of gas? are there any gas stations?

I’m not a fan at all of Harley, and like to poke fun of them with some regularity. I still didn’t like seeing some of the obvious jabs in the article. That is what the comments are for.

Exactly. I’ve never stolen a car, but if I did, the first thing that I would do is change the plates.

Looks like that’s where the designers of McCarran’s new tower got their inspiration. The tower should begin operations next summer.

Edmonton’s is pretty sweet.

Rode on one of these while treeplanting in northern Alberta many years ago - best way to quickly get through miles of swampy boot-sucking ground. Cool to learn the history behind them.

Those 3 aren’t nearly as bad as this one. The van of broken hopes and shattered dreams.

Even though - technically speaking - these aren’t Harley motors? The Helicon v-twin is built by Rotax.

Now playing

I feel the same way about CJ Wilson as I do about any huge douche with a nice car collection. The CJ Wilson bragging montage is one of my favorite things.

The very first thing he did after getting something caught in a prop that could potentially cause him to lose control was to immediately fly over people... the guy with the fishing pole isn’t the only asshole here. The first reaction should have been to take it as far away from the crowd of people as possible and then

I tried to look up the meaning of the symbols on his cars(apparently in some rally car he raced, he put them as well) but I can only find Czech pages and mentions of something called Zitö 44. And google translate is shit when it comes to Czech.

Screwing with his car is still not the right way to address any other idiocy the guy may have. I am also not ok with people with Obama stickers on their cars in Alabama having them keyed (or Bush stickers in SF - or whatever, pick your own example).

Did he set up the cameras because this guy had come by before and put those decals on the car?
