Weight was my first concern too. In the States 80,000 lbs combined truck and trailer is the general max. Current an empty over the road truck and trailer comes in at around 31,000 - 37,000 lbs, so can carry about weigh 43,000 to 49,000 lbs. Most drivers earn money by pounds delivered.
