I think I’ve demonstrated that I can read and respond to idiotic comments well enough to remain on deadspin without working myself into a tizzy, you sad soul. I’m sorry you are so ill equipped to deal with disagreement that you fall back into projecting unoriginal, hackneyed stereotypes though

Fuck that nonsense. You call yourself a nigger if you want though, I’m not your therapist.

Yes, to be fair, I read the Celtics blog occasionally and the posters seem to uniformly despise him.

Don’t be too tough on him, wouldn’t want him to get his feelings hurt

I don’t agree at all that Draymond belongs on that list, though. Paul George, John Wall (who is legitimately great), IT offensively, Giannis... West is definitely the top heavy conference but the East has some good players. LeBron makes the East look worse than it is.

Kyrie is 2A (at his best, 1B) on the Cavs, though. Lowry is the Raptors most important and likely best player. The Raptors don’t have a true superstar to lead them, was where I was going. Obviously LeBron still turns any team into a contender. No argument there.

I think we want to pretend pretty decent teams are really good teams, and really good teams are vulnerable to inherently flawed teams, in order to imagine a world where 2- 2 1/2 rounds of playoff NBA basketball matter. Golden State has no real competition. Spurs and Rockets are both two very good teams that are not

Raptors stars are both a tier below what you’d need to make real noise in the playoffs. Great effort team, somewhat talented, never going to do anything groundbreaking. This was over as soon as they moved past Milwaukee, and I was a tad surprised they managed to nut up for that series

whitest white guy story possible, perhaps

Might as well conduct a University of Stanford study on the topic and call it a day; black people’s word is never good enough in any situation.

Ty Lue has been hustling the league this entire season. All the rotations he was bungling and defensive schemes they were lacking have done almost a full 180. If they win a title this year, he will have revolutionized NBA coaching

You can just turn to the channel once the game starts, though...

They air a ton of NBA games that I watch fairly regularly.

That’s my mistake, I meant individually, but if that’s all you have as a response then take this editing trophy home proudly

The writers who write independently for Deadspin are not accountable for every story they did not write and did not have a hand in publishing. So unless you have a beef with Timothy Burke, I don’t get this comment

DannyO was referring to the same thing you are, I’m pretty sure

Bitches be trippin, amirite

Pretty much everyone in this country is an indirect recipient of your money.

They have chemistry issues? You mean their roster was chronically injured/half weren’t on the team before the ASB, right? They just won a championship and would have seriously challenged for one the year before had their second and third best players not been injured

San Antonio makes early playoff exits fairly often. They’re beatable. Golden State hasn’t proven they’re playoff unbeatable. The title they won was through a flurry of perfectly timed injuries to stars/important starters. We saw what they did last year after almost losing to the Thunder. They’re a really impressive
