This sound like a movie i would be interested to watch. Could be something really unusual and slowpaced for a horror story.

Why wait ? Why not start with the protest as soon as possible ? Just start with a group that is meeting every sunday evening for a protest in your town and do this every week untill he releases this information. Other will follow and soon you have nationwide groups that will meet once a week to protest this and demand…

When i see this, it feels like “the man in the high castle” is just foreshadowing what is to come. Just a litle bit later than the book timeline placed this possible future, and without the outside influence.
