I've invited Chrysler design chief Ralph Gilles in here to explain it. We'll see what's what.

Want a car in Shanghai, but don't want to pay as much $15,000 U.S. for a license plate? Then you need a Tesla Model S, friend!

To make Leds brighter AND last longer they are blinked really flash on cars. turning an led on and off does not shorten its life at all so, if you flash it on and off super fast, you can make it run brighter than it should (because it is off to let it "relax") and it lasts longer (because it is actually off half the

Well, they do blink. LEDs flash inanely fast. Cameras and screen just manage to refresh at such a rate as to show that blinking.

Most LEDs would overheat if they were on all the time, so they flash on and off really quickly to prevent this. You can also change the brightness by doing this (see the DRLs on the front of Audis, which dim when the indicator is on)

I think VW has done a helluva good job with their DRLs recently. 2013.5 GLI shown... Also, can someone explain to me why LEDs appear to have a refresh rate when viewed through a screen? They seem to blink sequentially.
