My thoughts exactly.

Realistically #s 6-1 are all basically the same thing; one way or the other you're afraid you'll die (on your own, by getting hit by another car, by your wife/mom, etc.). Maybe in 20 years when all cars are downsized to the point that bouncing off a Chevy Sonic would be the worst thing that might happen to you. But

I'm not sure if this image will show up or not (it's from a friend's Facebook page, and it was blurry to start with), but it's a picture of a motorcycle that wasn't seen in traffic and got hit...BY A FREAKING FIRE TRUCK!!! My friend, who is in his 20s, ended up losing his right leg below the knee, among other

My daddy always said he'd buy me one for my last birthday. It took me a while to figure out exactly what he was saying too, but I get it now.

Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.

So THAT explains the recurring VW Bug in the Bullitt chase scene!

Has everyone forgotten Godzilla breathes fire?

Here's another 2005 Altima image I found that I tried to compare with the video image. The quality of the video is really bad, but based on the slant of the rear, and the highlights that match up and such, I still think the Altima is a viable option. The angles aren't perfect between these two photos, but it was as

Can you un-enhance the photo of the 2005 Altima I posted a few places below and see how they compare? The rear half looks right to me for the Altima, but not so sure about the front (but I don't know my Altimas that well; maybe they made one with more chrome on the grill).

My first guess is Nissan Altima; something about that rear quarter panel seems to bulge in just the right way. This photo is of a 2005 I found online that was a similar color and pointed the same direction for comparison.

I've got a garden variety '80 El Camino on my side of the garage that's in similar condition, and that I'm holding onto for the same reasons. I could pour more money into it, but I could also go buy an almost pristine one on eBay somewhere for probably $3500 that would have a V8 and such...IF I really wanted a nice

I need to get the Schenewolfs in touch with these folks.

Forget it, he's rolling.

I forget the details of the story, but a few years ago there was a couple who I think died (or at least the husband who went for help did) because they got lost in the mountains in a car and only had a cell phone, which couldn't get a signal. But I read if he'd had a CB he would have been heard on channel 9 by law

This makes sense in that the Trax would steal sales from the Equinox, so they can sell the Buick Encore version here instead (probably at the same price point as the Equinox) and gain sales instead.

Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman. He's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it!

I've probably mentioned this before, but 10-12 years ago I bought a set of new factory tan Yugo floormats off eBay just for the novelty factor. I asked the guy selling them how he ended up with them, and he said apparently whoever ordered these things to stock the dealerships here ordered a 50/50 mix of tan and gray,

This one get's my vote.

So is that a tach, or the speedometer that only goes to 9?

I know this is somewhat anti-Jalopnk, but "ask the man who owns one" as they used to say; I'm 6' with @ a 33-34" inseam, and even with the seat all the way back I can't get comfortable in my '80 El Camino. Limited legroom combined with no room to lean the seat back makes for a very awkward driving position, which
