My wife has a '10 Accord; you made the right choice. She was motivated to get a new one to pass her '03 down to my daughter last year, who is now a freshman in college. My daughter was home a couple of weekends ago and my wife and I took the '03 to fill it with gas; my wife was visibly melancholy as the drove the

I've put almost 60k miles on my Jeep Patriot, I think that may take more stamina than this guy exerted in a million miles in his Accord. Then again, if the reward is another Patriot...never mind.

Nice price!

Somewhere in my youth (late 60s/early 70s) I remember seeing an article about future cars/safety features, and one that I always thought was a great idea was the rear view mirror that sat on top of the car periscope-like, which gave you an unobstructed view to the rear of a vehicle (even if it did hurt aerodynamics).

I must say "zaftig" was much more fun to research than was the first time I encountered the word "hirsute".

One of my favorites from the Smoky Mountains. And if Nibbles attacks, you can see the road feature the sign refers to here: [www.flickr.com]

I really wish they'd make a mini-Avalanche version of this. I'd love to have a trucklet that got decent gas mileage, would seat 4-ish when needed, but also could expand to allow for carrying of extra long lumber (if not 4x8 plywood).

Does "any vehicle in the world" include concepts? Because I'd gladly trade my Jeep Patriot for the more versatile Dodge Rampage concept.

Maybe they could attach a water slide on each side and make it a neighborhood recreation center? Or post armed guards at the top and position the neighborhood as the safest in the state.

So do fines double in work zones on the 'ring?

POS. If you can identify a POS you'll be a much happier automotive enthusiast.

As a public service I would like to point out that the above video can be viewed in HD.

Yep; I also got one on the story about the old lady in the Cadillac running through a store that had an ad for a local Cadillac dealer. In Google's defense they match these things up based on search terms, so they see a story that says "accident" and "automobile" and such and they sync up an ad, which may be

As a media planner/buyer I sure love these ad placements! (And if the photo of this video with an ad for a nearby Cadillac dealer running in front of it doesn't show up, I tried.)

Speaking of mid-'80s Cadillacs and Germany, here's a little ditty that was number one on the German pop charts during the summer of 1985.

It's only a model.

Who are we to judge? At least until we've seen pics of the wife for comparison.

Not really sure how forgotten this is, since I found this photo on an article listing "The 25 Most Collectible Cars of the Last 25 Years". I just liked it because my initials are GLH.
