Slide #11 should be PIG and Cage’s performance in same.

Very satisfying - and fleet - watch. I’d absolutely go for a second season. But I will miss Finlay and Roscoe.

I much prefer Yours, Mine And Ours or With Six You Get Eggroll.

He was not the worst part of that film.

Yeah, after roughly the same amount of time, I cancelled this weekend after erroneously transferring all of my playlists to a different platform in such a fashion that they are now all one massive playlist...which I did not realize until after the deed was done. And that irritated me for about a minute, and then I

Watched this yesterday and they don’t mention Peleton by name, but we all know what it is, and we also know that an exercise bike doesn’t kill people, because unlike Peleton we aren’t fucking stupid.

Or maybe wait until you have something to report.

That’s a shame. I’ve gotten really tired lately of protagonists not just being flawed but being, well, shitty.

Can we not use the word “meager” for a value near or above 100M? Every year, a depressing number of great films make nowhere near half a single million, and 140M is somehow lacking, especially at the onset of a global pandemic.

Nolan’s leadership is the only reason I think this will work. Fallout is like GTA: too many possibilities to string together a feature or even a mini-series effectively (too much room for error). And especially after Cowboy Bebop, I’m flinching at all adaptations.

If there was one joke that really worked it was the Oscar play-off music scenes. Jeff’s reaction during the party was priceless.

ANYthing would have been better than that execrable musical. When they showed that in the first episode I became very nervous but was happy when they left it and HAWKEYE quickly became one of the best MCU D+ series this year.

For me, the top slot goes to PAINTING WITH JOHN. So soothing.

Stop it.

Ah, yes, that 80s box office champ, Above the Law.

Also: I would agree with you on that count.

Agathe Rousselle in Titane, Cumberbatch in Dog, Cage in Pig; Sennott is a great addition because I keep forgetting about that film; and Franz Rogowski gave two great performances in Undine and Luzifer (the latter still unreleased in the states).

I’ve lived through several decades where all or most of the top box office draws of the entire decade were neither comic book films nor sequalized IPs. Oh, what a time that was.

Loved it.

Rebooting films - especially when this recent - is one of the biggest failures of contemporary filmmakers/studios. To say we are in an era of creative bankruptcy is mild at best. As someone who’s been following cinema since a young age, it’s been one of the saddest developments I’ve ever seen in an artform.
