Big effort, lots of hard hikes each day, lots of elevation. Most of them are not too skittish though, so it’s not hard to get within kill range unless you’re bowhunting then obviously it’s much harder.

No high fence operation, i.e. game farm, is setup in terrain like that. At least not in N. America. They’re hunting on public land in that pic, guaranteed.

Not much skill in the actual kill (unless you’re using a bow), but the effort to find them is at the top of the scale.  Anti-hunters will scoff, but there is a lot of elevation, and days of going up and down.

We can agree Trump Jr is a douche but, but sheep is great table fare. Tenderloins and backstrap are fantastic and the rest is great for braising, like an osso bucco style. Also sheep are not goat, if you think sheep taste like sheep, maybe “muttony” would be a better adjective.

Hunting big horned sheep in a place like the Yukon is very difficult. The terrain you find one in is usually very difficult to traverse and they are very skittish animals. Even with a rifle it can be very tough to get in a range to shoot one as you have to be very aware of your scent, the wind, noise you make, etc.…
