Okay, this may be wrong, but... I just laughed for three minutes at your comment. (and yes, I’m sitting up here in Canada, so I shouldn’t laugh. It’s a rude thing for a neighbour to do.)

Ever since I found out I’m having a girl, which I was THRILLED about, and still am... I have more fear for her. More than I ever had/have for myself. I want her to go to university, learn, try new things... Go out and have a few drinks... and that the worst thing she wakes up to is a hangover.

I’m so goddamn tired of this. If she’s unconscious it’s rape. If you don’t touch her but are present, filming, and encouraging other men to rape a woman, you are a rapist too.

One of the many reasons I’m a cottager not a camper. Plus I just think that I’d taste amazing and how could a bear resist eating me?

Legacies can be nice. We’ve got one rolling up here. However... I always think Justin isn’t the most Pierre out of the Trudeau children. But I may have read too many Pierre Elliott Trudeau books, and have been quietly crushed that I missed Trudeaumania.

As a fellow Canadian, after seeing the picture of the woman... I can see it happening. ha. I also think her pre-occupation with the misquotes... I hear her. Damn those bloodsuckers, damn them to hell.

I feel like the people who doubt it... Probably don’t know the Canadian north and the people who live in it.

True. And I like how, at no point, did she think of hurling a full can of beer at the wolf. That’s just a waste of a beer.

You bite your tongue. That’s Canadian grit right there.

Yep. That sums up a lot of Canadians. Headed into the woods, and not just any woods, Northern Canadian woods, what do you need? A beer.
