Impaired driving is impaired driving. I don’t care if it’s booze, Percocet or anything else - if you are even slightly impaired, don’t get behind the wheel.

Superchargers are much more linear and predictable for power production than a turbo, especially at low RPM and partial throttle.

The supercharger feeds the turbo, which is then aftercooled. So no, there isn’t any more chance of heat soak. Also high intake temperatures do not cause a lean condition. They increase the chance of knock.

The factory piece is a permanent solution. The active oiling solutions are a money grab by companies who don’t actually understand the failure mode.

If you drive the car hard, even if the inner seal fails the bearing will last a very very long time, it’s when you poke around town for 30k that you have problems.
