I have to admit that I feel resentful towards Lynch about the hit-&-run scene.
It was so brutal, and up to the very last moment, I thought there was going to be some salvation; something would happen to save that kid.

To be fair, I have to say that this episode was a step back towards what made the first episodes so strong… but they did lose momentum, which shines a spotlight on the holes.
For me, it's not so much that it's DIFFERENT than the book,
it's that some of the changes seem to undermine the book's messages.
I feel the same!
She's SMOOTH!
Makes me wonder if they're just gonna use Janine as a Womb-On-Wheels now.
SO GLAD for some insight into Rita!
AND for the return to quality!
"Sometimes"?
I'm pissed that they didn't give Robin Wright that raise; she is the ONLY reason I am still watching.
DId my eyes deceive me, or was she wearing PANTS in the scene when she met with the women senators?
Well, when you already know that Frank & Claire are always going to win… what's the point?
You thought I meant "drive" literally?
Or the story of HOW Moira came to JEZEBEL'S (shown rather than clumsy exposition)
I am right there with you!
I WANT this show to succeed!
But the last 3 episodes have gone further & further of the rails….
"I'm a WRITER!"
This show is about politics like DYNASTY was about oil.
I would like to see the actress playing Hannah in a real role.
Claire was giving Alexis Carrington Colby line-readings a couple of times.
If the show went that way tonally, rather than taking itself SO SERIOUSLY, it would be a much better show.
They were ACTIVE, not just RE-active.
I watched through fingers of dread….
When nothing bad happened, I rewond so I could fully enjoy The Paris Sisters….
