They aren't public servants.

Thank you! I was afraid to delve into the comments there!

I linked it above!

This is it, a vile load of bs:
"Julie Andrews Teaching Theater on Netflix Invalidates Your Argument for Federal Arts Funding - Kelsey Crockett"
"The fact that this show exists at all demonstrates that we don’t need government funds to make family-friendly, educational, artistic television. As long as there is consumer

I saw that a right-wing columnist wrote that the success of JULIE'S GREENROOM on Netflix was proof that The Arts don't need funding.

Does that mean there won't be any more ONE MISSISSIPPI?
:(

I agree with your assessment; the show is tipping it's hand with it's attitudes about objectifying women and privilidge.
Something in the episode - I can't remember what, now - made me GUFFAW.
These actors… even their CHARACTERS… deserved better.

"Just following orders"

"I think this administration has been VERY CLEAR that this is a redistricting matter!"

That would make me hate anything.

I am posting from the future; this show is now on NETFLIX and I'm watching it.
I never knew it existed.
The cast is solid A; the material is B-, sometimes perilously close to C+.
Nonetheless, I am enjoying it.
It's comfort food, to be sure, but the cast and presentation give it some snap!

I'm watching this now on NETFLIX.
I never heard of it when it came out, but I'm enjoying it very much right now!

I am SO EXCITED about this show!

I watched it as it aired, and I;m STILL messed up!

These shows would be perfect at 8 or 10 tight episodes.
& JJ could've used a little less gore.

WATCHING: GRACE & FRANKIE, JULIE'S GREENROOM, BEST OF ELECTRIC COMPANY VOL 2
READING: vol 3 of Fantagraphics' BARNABY collection by Crockett Johnson.
The stories and characters are wonderful, but the DESIGN of the comic strip (and the book itself) is EXQUISITE!
LISTENING: RONNA & BEVERLY, CRYBABIES, YO, IS THIS RACIST?,

"its simple sets,"

You are right, and I am thinking of Robert's gift to his Mother, and how that's probably the last in a lifetime of rejected gifts, and how that informs his stockpiling of gifts for Grace during their marriage.

This was a terrific episode!
