"Do you wanna make more money?
Sure, we all do!"
— Sally Struthers

I loved this episode and the previous two episodes.
I am now fully on-board with CEG!

"Welcome to The Game, Sydney Bloom."

It IS a little too easy to make Valencia simply "terrible" when everyone else has nuance.

Why didn't she just call her Dr. back in NYC and ask for a prescription renewal?

"Nobody likes a stalker."
(raises binoculars)

And how they can focus on fictional characters finding happiness rather than taking action to find it in their own lives!

Her "soaps", as her husband unwittingly called it!

I thought it was a great date! Until…
And we can see now after meeting Greg's father that what came across as "insulting" was his idea of "affectionate".

This is how I feel, too.
This is the episode that Rebecca showed some real growth and that did a LOT to win me back. I was at the point in the series where I thought, "Bloom is genius, her mind is working on so many levels, this cast is fantastic, but you know, the show itself may not be for me."
BUT this episode has me

This is an issue I have, too; are we really to believe she made NO FRIENDS in between summer camp with Josh and moving to West Covina? Her ONLY connection to The World outside of West Covina is her mother?

This is the problem I've been having with the show, so this Thanksgiving episode was very gratifying! Finally, she shows some growth!
This is the point I might have bailed, if we had been given another "Isn't mental illness cute?" episode.
But because we saw some conflict and growth in this episode, I am energized to

I ABSOLUTELY agree!

Now THIS episode I LOVED 100%!

I'll go out on a limb and say that no one "deserves" branding.

Thank you for this thoughtful response!

Well, he's perfect for PROJECTING on to…

We knew she was gonna let that guy stay, but I wish she had given a more substantial reason than "You're kids are cute".
I feel like Paula's smarter than that.

But she isn't REALLY making friends… She's BUYING friends.

I thought when I began watching the show, I would identify with Rebecca, but I find myself much more identifying with Greg.
