I believe swapping out the HDD would still require taking the thing apart. I was only able to find one location in the area that will do it (Apple won’t install 3rd party products). The cost just to install the RAM was $120, so I figure it would be pretty close for an HDD.

I accept the blame on the RAM thing, I did my research at the time, but didn’t realize that the 21" and 27" had different setups for upgrading it. Makes no sense that the 27" has a door on the back (like they all used to), while the 21" needs to be completely dismantled.

I’ve had iMacs before and my experience was great. My previous computer was a 2012 Retina Macbook Pro, which I was using up until this time last year. Biggest problem with that was that I had to keep the charger in because the battery was dead after almost 8 years.

Hopefully it’s better than the piece of shit 2019 iMac I bought last year.

Definitely a good question, but I think it could also depend on the stand-alone cost of xCloud. That could replace the price of Gold.

Rumors are that all Xbox MP will be free and them getting rid of Gold to push Game Pass Ultimate w/ xCloud. If this is the case we could see more MP going free-to-play.

Not a big Twitch person, kinda wish they kept Mixer around just for this to be the final goodbye. That being said, probably going with the official channel.

the quality on Youtube is terrible for the preview show (even at 720 & 1080), looks like i’ll be switching to Twitch for the main show.
