Rumors are that all Xbox MP will be free and them getting rid of Gold to push Game Pass Ultimate w/ xCloud. If this is the case we could see more MP going free-to-play.

That’s no excuse. Plenty of game companies still putting out games and updates. I work for a game company (albeit smaller than Rockstar) and haven’t missed a day due to state closures. With Slack and apps like SourceTree, it’s much easier to work for home and companies have been using these programs for years.
