It has the exotic look and feel you want, is the most fun to drive car you can get at almost any price, sounds amazing and can be had in great condition for your budget. I’m definitely not a tree hugger or someone over-the-top about fuel economy but keep in mind that saving on fuel (whether cost or volume), would typically cost you somewhere else, no free lunch....yada yada.
im torn on this engine. On the one hand I totally understand the idea of choosing an I4 for turbo placement, and I appreciate there is only one turbo to potentially replace instead of 2 but I have to wonder what the efficiency tradeoff of needing balance shafts with a 4 vs a 6.
