Regarding 8:

I have it set up at home and it is truly awesome. ;)

@weendex: Word on the street is that Sony got nervous and had reservations about the Playstation name... Maybe true, maybe not. However, walkman, cybershot and so forth have all been introduced to SE mobile phones, so it's a logical path forward.

It looks very interesting.

@MrHaroHaro: There's a different phone that will be the X10 replacement:

@bjaxon: Ah, but the difference is that it's an early developer version whereas the HTC phones usually force close even after they are in retail... ;)

If the circle is large enough, it can be considered a straight line... ;)

Drinkspiration is also in an Android version. I kinda like that one.

If this and the other phone "ANZU" is released to the market in a timely fashion and with up to date android, then this really could be a game changer for SE.

@DustyButt: Probably, but she would still only have a few more jumps in her... ;)

Not my cup of tea. It looks like a plastic old iphone...

I for one welcome Sony Ericsson as the new Android Overlord. ;)

Why wouldn't it just be one screen with part of it beeing used as a ticker... then you could choose to either activate the ticker or enjoy larger screen size?

@cormack: I sincerely doubt that. My information tells me that SE will skip 2.2. There's also official information that SE will support the Xperia line of phones for quite some time. Again my information is that it's Gingerbread that's the next target.

@kalleboo: That would be the SE press release. However I've found someone citing numbers from Gartner that puts Motorola in 2d place. Something I find very hard to believe globally. So most likely someone using US statistics, since obviously Motorola has a larger market share there.

Just get the coming Playstation phone from Sony Ericsson. ;) I've seen the pictures right here on Gizmodo...

X10 just got updated to 2.1. It sure was a very long wait, but oh how sweet it is. ;)

It worked like a charm on my X10 here in Sweden. I was actually quite impressed that the alarm app even told me that my alarm for 10:00 was 9:55 away when I set the alarm at 01:05 on the night between Saturday and Sunday.

If this is to show that the US finally embraces metrication, then fine. But otherwise they shouldn't really whine. They can just go on with the pound-stones per gallon of inch-foots on a windy day. (Yes it makes no sense, but neither does the Imperial measuring system...)
