Gah, I missed it! Where was Shangela?
Gah, I missed it! Where was Shangela?
And I appreciated the Queequeg shout out, even though Queequeg was a Pomeranian and this dog was a Jack Russell mix. Stealing a dog from a shelter is so very…
I loved this. It was just plain wonderful, and I can't be critical.
"…neither appeared in the imagined idyll of the other."
True, but it's BASIC cable ;-). Just thinking that they won't mind pushing the envelope on network TV either.
Was nobody else watching the two kids and thinking "SCANNERS!!!!" Or am I just too old?
American Horror Story is an FX show, and they show a lot more.
I LOVE Dogma.
I'm just gonna argue a little that Klaus Maria Brandauer in Never Say Never Again (1983) was a more-than-one-note villain.
Considering how fast Vivien's pregnancy went, IIRC, I'm thinking he grew up EXTRA fast. Or we're going to conveniently ignore the Murder House timeline.
My theory downthread is that John is the son of Tate and Vivien, and therefore Constance's grandson, who she raised. So the grandma that Scarlett keeps going to is actually her GREAT grandma—and we get a visit from Jessica Lange in the finale. I will not, however, put any money on that.
That was Ally Sheedy, but she was in St. Elmo's Fire.
She did get it. Remember how she was breaking out in measles when Iris and Liz went to let her out?
So how awesome would THIS be: John is Tatespawn. Scarlett's "grandma" is actually "great-grandma"…
Not Sally—Scarlett.
Well, when Liz and Iris were discussing suicide, Liz did say to Iris "if we die here, we'll be stuck here." And Liz does know that Iris is one of the "vampires."
I want to find out that Scarlett's grandmother is Frances Conroy, please and thank you.
You're right. I kind of forgot about him!
I wouldn't be surprised if he does come back. Or if Valentino meets up with Liz.
Diseases. Note that the kids who are refusing to feed are getting measles.
