They’re not going to care. They didn’t vote for trump because he’s an outsider who’ll bring back jobs. They voted for trump cause he’s a loud racist and sexist. And they want to see someone like them in the white house.

What’s funny is how the Internet Trumpkins are justifying it.

I like the volunteering idea. I’m in Canada, but volunteering is a good idea anywhere. Plus the culture of racism that the Trumpets have been celebrating so vocally the past few days has a way of spreading. We have plenty of racists here too and the last thing we need is them feeling just as emboldened to be assholes.…

I’m totally into the do gooding thing. I’m a social worker so I’m trying to figure out what I can do about policy, lobbying, etc. I’m ready to kick some ass and take all the names.

Where in the southwest? I would never consider moving back to NY or MA (I’m from the Northeast but I live in Vegas now) but I’m considering a move to Cali just to be in a state that seems safer. Vegas is great, and we turned NV blue, but I want to be in a fully blue state very badly.

We bought our house only a few years ago, so definitely not thinking of selling, but we are planning on cutting back on our spending and saving as much as we can. Seems to me like this could have been an adult (another teacher/administrator, etc.) who did this and tried to make it look like a kid did it. Just pointing that out because the handwriting almost looks like that of an older person trying to write in a high-schooler way.

Then I will whine and be unpatriotic endlessly, and I will not be told to calm down or shut up. I will not be civil with these people, they do not deserve it.

The US just elected a fascist, yes there may be some who are lying about hate crimes but the majority are not.

It is actually not specifically mentioned to be a student in the post. She just says it was placed in her classroom, so the perpetrator could have been an adult. Sad either way.
