Oh, I’m not saying that it’s impossible to objectively judge art in isolation from the artist that made it. Ignition is an objectively brilliant track, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to pay to download it or go to a fucking concert. If you know better, do better.

So exactly how good does a song have to be to justify rape? Is a one hit wonder enough, or does it have to be a full album? If you win a Grammy does that give you a get-out-of-jail-free card? Cool if you murder someone too? As long as you get your 3.5 minutes of entertainment, right?

I see your point, but I do think it depends on how complicit the larger team is with the crime, and how much did they know? I feel like these situations never really occur in isolation, and it can call into question the ethics of someone choosing to work for or with a criminal. It poisons the art.

What a piss poor perspective of humanity. I think you know deep down that's a bullshit justification.

R Kelly is a perfect example of how art can't be separated from the artist. How can you ethically consume art without supporting the person who made it? How do you ignore the reflection of the artist's expression? You have to be heartless and willfully blind. It defeats the whole purpose of art.

Can you really be ride or die on your 3rd marriage tho?

You knew this would cause a Niagara falls of white tears lol. A true masterpiece.

Don't waste your breath on the trolls, chin up love!

Listen to those hit dogs hollering! Lol

Fuck Tulsi Gabbard.

My heart just breaks for her. What a heavy burden for such a young child to carry.

Go for it! With the amount of media attention I don't think you'll have much luck.

Uhh not necessarily. Have you ever colored your hair?

Yep I really want to know how they controlled for other factors. If you have grey hair you’re most likely older, which causes cancer (eventually) anyways.

But if your hair is already dark, you would need less exposure to dark dyes than someone who has naturally light hair. So that doesn't really make sense either..

I really want to read the whole study, but it’s behind a paywall. It doesn’t make any sense to me why black women would have a higher risk factor than white women who also used hair dye.

Check out the link, it’s a good one! Racial health disparities persist even when socioeconomic factors are controlled.

Dunno about her personal situation, but women of color are significantly less likely to seek out and receive help for eating disorders. Wish that there was more discussion and education in this article about those health disparities.

I just want to say, Amy Sherald liked one of my Instagram posts once and I'm still dead lol.

You have it backwards, she only drank water and did not eat food. Equally crazy, but at least she's alive.
