The US doesn’t compete against Venezuela in the oil market. The only countries that produce enough oil to manipulate the price of oil is the OPEC nations. The US and Venezuela can sell as much oil as they can or want. There’s zero competition between the US and any country when it comes to oil. Domestic gasoline

Holy shit you’re stupid. So are you saying there’s scientific proof that it is the actual screen itself that is detrimental? Please give me a link, and don’t give me a link that reiterate what I clearly said, that using the screen in place of actual interactions that is the real detriment.

They still lose billions on the actual Amazon website. They’re making all their billions on cloud services. I love Amazon, but I’m not a buy and sell investor, I’m too old for that. Amazon isn’t a company I’d invest in. But I’m no wall st expert, just my personal opinion.

What am I upset about? Try reading my post. Price of gasoline in this country is not set by Saudi Arabia. Merging Exxon and Mobile removed a huge competition between each other for customers. Merging these two companies helped no one but the two companies. It hasn’t made them more competitive on the world market. They

I remember at one point Amazon was around 1000 p/e ratio. I thought, man this company is going to crash and die.

You know there actually is competition at the gas pump, that’s why there’s different prices at different gas stations. So when they lied and said merging would provide cheaper gasoline it actually created a monoplistic company that did nothing to bring down the price of gas. These companies don’t set the price of oil

No, it’s screen TIME. The amount of time interaction with a screen instead of another human which is vital for development.

ExxonMobile shouldn’t even exist. Who was the genius that allowed two oil companies to merge.

Plopping your kid in front of the tv in place of spending time with your children affects social/cognitive development. The screen itself is not what is causing the problem. See that’s the difference between science and stupidity. You ignore the fact that the parents are ignoring their children and blame the TV. I

Truth hurts I know. I didn’t bother reading your last post because I won’t be responding again. Your words like your vote is meaningless, you give nothing to society, you stand for nothing, you are an embarrassment to those of us who participate in swaying the direction this country goes. Thanks for nothing asshole.

Someone is being chosen to lead this country. There’s two choices, you don’t like either so you throw your vote to a 3rd party because you care who actually leads this country but make grand statements about your 3rd party vote. If that’s not self righeous bullshit I don’t know what is. Bottom line is this, if you’re

For short term thinkers 200 years is like forever!! Especially since they’ll be dead and why should they care about anything after they’re dead.

Wind farms are safe, that doesn’t mean I want the noise where I live.

A Jill Stein supporter calling other people idiots? That’s rich. What she’s doing is akin to saying, are light bulbs safe???? What scientific about asking, do rainbows harm our children?? It’s moronic, unfounded and has zero to do with science. She’s an idiot, you’re an idiot and all 3rd party voters are idiots and

Jill Stein voters are self gratifying selfish righeous assholes and cowards. The rest of us have to make a real decision on who will lead this country while you and Stein play make believe and congratulate each other on how progressive you all are. Who takes office matters, it matters a great deal, so either take part

So do you want the media to talk about her or not? Or do you just want them to say nice things about her? When you are an anti-vaxxer and making ridiculous claims about the dangers of wifi, what do you want people to write about? Does she have a political record to speak of? You can’t complain about a truthful article.

I didn’t realize which post I was responding too, but $1000 in the US can get you through the week. $1000 in Zimbabwe can get your though the year. Cost of living is what I was talking about. Think about what kind of home you can buy for a million dollars in NYC compared to Mississippi.

I don’t think you understand how global currency works. When people exchange their currency for US dollars, yes it’s the same $1000, but if their currency suddenly gets devalued it can suddenly be worthless. but if the money is in USD it retains it’s value.

Where does she say it’s harming children and not posing problems for development?
