whoa for a minute there I thought Taylor herself took the acid and was disturbing and dangerous. Which I only slightly believe, as I see her as being one of those really, really annoying people when high.
I'm sorry to say I was at a resort in Mexico last month where there were mostly European guests, and all the girls were wearing Spice Girl platform sandals. Which means they'll be hitting the U.S. any day now.

My best friend, a white woman, got dreadlocks way before we were woke on cultural appropriation (in high school of course), and she actually didn’t look terrible in them. But when we both learned about cultural appropriation she started the process of brushing them out that week because she felt so shitty about them.
No white person looks good in dreads. Our hair is way too slippery and fine for dreads to turn out nice. (Over all, I know hair textures can vary.)
Besides which- she’s gorgeous. She’s a beautiful, stylish girl. Who wouldn’t want a girl like this working in their clothing store? Ugh.
Besides the cultural appropriation, she just looks really fucking bad in those dreads.
This isn’t only appalling at a racism level, it also speaks volumes about the mental capacities of the management at Zara. I work in retail, and I know damned well my store would be smart enough to know better than this. I hope Zara gets what they deserve in this case.
