"loser soup kitchen"? Dude I'm with you that the rest of those things sound fairly pretentious, but fuck you for filing charity work as "snobbish".

Screw that! THREE 27" screens, a keyboard, an operating system that isn't locked up like Fort Knox, human evolution to alter our skeletal structure in a way that makes tablets less ergonomically horrifying, etc.

I think you're confusing the churches reaction to gay priests with the churches reaction to kid-fucking priests.

Dude they fixed that like two weeks after launch. Read before you hate.

Same reason I'm a condom-only dude. I don't trust the woman to take the pill.

Meanwhile the home theater is getting cheaper and cheaper, and access to high def content is getting easier and easier.

They didn't have a problem acknowledging the competition with notification bars and LTE.

"People" only don't trust Google with their data because of sensationalist articles screaming about how the scary technology is going to harm them.

Because Android allows you to do more with their sdk and writing code in objective-c makes me want to munch on a 12-gauge.

If I've learned anything from years of Burn Notice and Macguyver, there's always a weapon around if you need it.

This is mobile. Apple is still the "underdog" of personal computers. Apple has been the king of mobile since they put their hat in the ring. As much as it pains me to say that...

Seriously, absolutely this.

Go back to your Fox newscast. I'm done with you on this topic.

Dude you missed out. I grew up in Federal Way, Washington. It's a little ghetto-ish, but had a couple of decent parks nearby. We built some awesome tree forts with secret entrances and all kinds of shit.

I thought that was how all Australian elections worked anyway.

When I was 9-13, I would go to the park and build forts in the forest.

Keep telling yourself that. I'm not saying there isn't SOME truth in there, but 5 people just died purely because nobody would hand them a fuckin' sandwich while you were typing that. You don't just let the starving starve and dismiss it as an inevitability caused by the lack of democracy. There is room for both.

Most population growth in areas like that is due to lack of education or worse. If someone is worried about even having enough food to NOT DIE, how do you expect them to give half a shit about becoming mildly educated?

I practice what I call "secular tithing". I don't believe in any diety, so I give 10% of my income to charitable causes. Thanks for assuming I'm just bitching without trying to change anything though.
