If I remember correctly from Frontline, his brother drank himself to death largely *because* of how he was treated as a failure by Donald and his father for not having any desire to succeed in the real estate industry and instead wanting to be a pilot and a decent human being.

I…what?! Jesus fucking Christ.

"You're gonna have dinner with Groucho tonight if you don't beat it."

He also called opiates a "national emergency" and I feel like that has to just be to deflect from everything else going on because he's incapable of empathy especially for "addict losers".

I still have my "Squeeze the Cheese" t-shirt and "1996 AFC Champion" hat around somewhere in my parents' house

Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider II and GoldenEye 64 multiplayer mode
The music videos for Puff Daddy/Ma$e/Biggie's "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems", Ma$e's "Feel So Good" and Busta Rhymes "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See"
Timbaland and Magoo's "Luv 2 Luv Ya"
The Wu Tang Forever album cover
Scream 2
Michael Jordan's "flu game"

Fine, there are always going to be snubs I personally disagree with on lists like this so that's not a big deal. But Face/Off at 2 is clinically insane. The only list Face/Off is number 2 on is "Ridiculously over the top Cage movies from 1997".

Do you think Con Air is unwatchable? I can't believe we're having this debate in the comment section of the best movies of 1997.

Good Will Hunting, Lost Highway and to a lesser extend Donnie Brasco snubs aside Con Air is such a better ridiculous Cage movie than Face/Off. I can't believe you put Face/Off at #2 what even is this site anymore? And it's Dowd of all people! I can't even…

People did the same shit with Pacific Rim and it drove me nuts. They cast Charlie Day as a scientist I'm pretty sure it's not taking itself overly serious.

Robert Blake is fucking terrifying in Lost Highway even without knowing anything else about him. But with the knowledge of his personal life added in…God damn it's some BOB levels of creepiness. That first scene when he sees Bill Pullman from across the party and the music stops is so god damn effective.

Hahaha Face/Off over L.A. Confidential and Boogie Nights. There was a real nice pop culture site I frequented once.

It's really that and "Sandstorm" by Darude

Lots of Lights and Susanne Sundfor in anticipation of their new albums. Also I checked out Passion Pit's album Gossamer for the first time after countless recommendations and it definitely is an album that nails the feelings of depression. I've been listening to Foxes a lot, I think she's one of the more underrated

Depends on what you're looking for really. Hype or mellow, politically/ethnically charged or not so much, etc. But some of his best tracks IMO are "Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst", "Rigamortis", "HiiiPower", "Look Out for Detox", "D.N.A.", "Money Trees" and "m.A.A.d City".

I'm okay with Incubus still. Especially S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and Morning View.

"Homer are you wearing an old Halloween costume?"

Camouflage Milhouse is pretty much my favorite thing ever. "Over here, my friends! Or is it here?!"

"It says here 'Larry' White."
"I know my own name."

I didn't set the bar.
