I sort of interpreted the case to be impliedly addressing the Tyler Clementi story. Showing that there are a number of reasons a person commits suicide and that it really isn't entirely anyone's fault.

Probably only lawyers get worked up about the non-lawyer affiliation thing.  I thought he might be a quasi-lobbyist when he signed on, which would be OK if he was a lawyer, but he's just a PR guy basically.

They're not very ethical, but a lot of the stuff they pull is pretty common in actual practice. The bigger stretches are ones that involve client money (only because that's disbarment territory) but on the whole, it's an unfortunately fair portrayal.
