Look again. The hand that lifts the knife is a man's hand, and the metal plate it's resting on cannot be seen anywhere on the table, certainly not near Bedelia. Her arm movement is a coincidental misdirection.

Bedilia amputating her own leg? I don't think so. Notice how drugged out she appears at the table, eyelids drooping. Notice the three extra place settings and two extra chairs. But especially: notice the male hand that lifts the meat fork from its metal plate, an item you cannot see on the table anywhere near Bedelia.…

I love this show even though it regularly breaks my heart.

Masters and Johnson did not have children together. Each of them had two offspring with other spouses.

Apparently a funny comment, even though it has absolutely nothing to do with my comment above. I'm not a man, just found the actor unappealing and the scenes overwrought.
