“It’s OK to steal others’ work because I’m not a corporate shill, man.”

They’re too ‘dated’ and ‘clunky’ for bandwagon Persona players.

I’m sure they have goodwill with those that do choose to buy their consoles, as is the case in the west. They’re doubling down on their fans, which, as an Xbox guy myself, definitely appreciate. All my other Xbox-owning friends feel the same; we just appreciate what their doing for us. It’s all fan-service, and

Wouldn’t you think 4chan is a more apt comparison to 2ch than reddit? It’s owned and operated by 2ch’s founder, and was modeled directly off of 2ch.

Why wouldn’t they? Unlike Sony, Microsoft isn’t being kept afloat solely by their gaming division. Microsoft wants mindshare and goodwill, it doesn’t matter if Xbox makes money for them.

No it cannot, Sony wouldn’t be able to sell you those games again if it could. I believe the PS2 version was ported from the scrapped Dreamcast version as well, which was a remarkable port considering the hardware (and single analog stick controller).

DQX is a console MMO that launched on the Wii, and has since been ported to the Wii U, PC, and now the Switch. You don’t need a mouse, but a keyboard has been optional for chatting since the original Wii release (they even had a special edition Slime keyboard). The PSO GCN keyboard is a wholly apt comparison. It’s

Only in a Sims Community would an angry forum post title contain ‘WHAT THE HECK’.

Exactly. It seems that no one ever takes into account that TASs do not use real hardware. Anything ‘proven’ via emulation is wholly inaccurate by its very nature.

Voice chat and party creation sucks on PS4 and it sucks on Xbox One, so I don’t really see why having it in my hand and being able to tap things a few times to get everything going is a bad thing.

Yes, several.

You said they were getting paid hourly to make burritos, if the manager considers this particular request part of that, it is what it is. I don’t think playing the game makes you an asshole, just a shrewd consumer. Difficult customers is just part of the deal; they might be assholes, but you literally sign up for it

If the manager-on-duty lets it happen, it is quite literally what they’re getting paid to do.

This might be the most asinine take I’ve ever seen.

Bayo 2 was a Nintendo-funded game; you’ll never see it ported to anything besides Nintendo consoles.

You can get an English bootleg from China for about $5 shipped. Alternately, you could pay around $30 for a flashcart and play it on that, if you don’t feel like directly supporting a bootleg operation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“near finished”

They’re largely dried out because actually working SuperFX games need to be cannibalized to create those repros, which is basically a retro-gaming warcrime.

Those have basically been ROM hacked into something the hackers believe would have resembled the finished product, since the dev versions floating around were missing enemy damage in certain areas, among other incomplete things. It will be very interesting to see if this is an never-before-seen complete(ish?) build

The original European SNES was indeed PAL, it ran at 50Hz; what are you talking about? The mini runs the US versions of everything at 60Hz, but the design is literally modeled on the PAL SNES, which itself is modeled on the NTSC-J Super Famicom. There’s nothing incorrect about referring to the actual console-design
