I agree—she's delightful.

Not unacceptable at all. If he doesn't want to get tested (and as others said, it's a good idea to go together to take the pressure off), then something is wrong and he is not worth seeing.
Totally agreed. But I thought he was a good fit for that weird, wide-eyed little alien known as Elisabeth Moss. Her "accent" was one of the more distracting and regrettable things in that whole show (though I liked it despite that).
Stewart is one of the most overrated young actresses around right now, IMO. I've thought so since I first saw her in "Into the Wild" and couldn't believe she continued cropping up in various high-profile movie roles. She has a couple of emotionless expressions she recycles endlessly, and seems to play the same…
Such a classic. Oh Joni...
Completely agreed, and very eloquently put.
You have really stepped up your game on this article. Cheers for the well-written and informative read.
She seems pretty happy, so does it really matter?
I like ramen, and I like lasagna. And yet, I cannot get behind this.
I think you're missing the spirit of her comment.
I prefer to call mine a "brioche top." It's so much cuter!
Yes. This.
Look, you didn't specify that at all, and now you're back-tracking. Yes, you made a point or two that's not necessarily offensive (saying no exercise classes were available in town—however, this just reveals your cultural ignorance of the country and region you were in, but whatever).
To be fair, I think they are more welcoming to her now that she is older. But the teasing did really get to her as a child. Her dad (who is Black) raised her to not consider her skin color (we recently had a loooong phone convo about this) and would get upset when she mentioned the ethnicity of a classmate, e.g., so…
Yeah, I don't know I guess. Like the person who responded after, I always thought he was in business, but I'm too lazy to double-check. :) Garten used to work for the White House in IIRC the energy department, and I remember reading in one of her cookbook intros that her parents bought her a princess/ballerina dress…
Yes...and they're both loaded. That helps a lot.
I read and I understood, but I still found the bulk of your comment absolutely ridiculous, and still do. You can very easily live somewhere for a year with your own cultural preconceptions clouding your judgment, and it's doubly easy as a foreign student to live in your own bubble and in no way get a real feel for…
Unfortunately, nowadays there is really no such thing as a purely entry-level job. Most seem to require 3-5 years in the field, or are in other words what used to be called a "junior" position. #smh
If Monica were there it'd be a whole different story.
Ughhh. I'm sorry to hear that. :(
