If this van’s a rockin’, don’t come a doxxin’!

Geriatric vampires?

I didn’t say I was doing that. Can you actually read?

Of course it’s fine. The weird part is that there are people who fail to recognize that humor is subjective. When I was watching it, my primary reaction was, “This is designed to generate controversy and “buzz” rather than to be as funny as possible.” In any case, where are you finding the numbers on how successful

Kermit only appeared as a “regular cast member” in the first season of Sesame Street. After than he was considered to be “Sesame Street’s #1 guest star.” Henson realized he was going to be the face of the Muppets and pulled him, and the other Muppet Brand characters out in order to create a clear distinction between

I take the more cynical position that the first half was created specifically to offend people and “generate buzz.

It’s pretty weird how much people will flip out at you for saying you didn’t enjoy the special. That hunkahunkakinja troll and a couple other freaks went off at me in an AV Club thread about this for literally saying, “I didn’t think it was funny so I turned it off.”

I’ve yet to see anyone claim that Chappelle should be legally barred from saying whatever he wants to say, so I don’t really see what this has to do with freedom of speech.

“Tell me more about these ten to twelve people doing a different variation on a point in a pathologically fruitless attempt to appear witty to strangers.”

The A.V. Club

i came back to read this one again an hour later and i’m still chuckling.

The PMRC was founded by 4 women. One was the wife of a democratic politician, two were the wives of republican politicians, and one was the wife of a real estate developer who was a heavy backer of republican politicians: the “Washington Wives.” On balance, that’s 75% politically conservative.

anti-funny? judging by your recent posts you’re the expert on this new style of comedy.

I can’t help but also wonder if they’re including a character from a movie no one’s seen yet on the list as part of an ongoing marketing campaign instead of as a genuine attempt to gain definitive answers.

If you’re too stupid to see the difference that’s on you, buddy.

good thing she has that catsuit unzipped just enough to expose her cleavage or she might overheat.

Disney doesn’t own Sesame Street, it’s owned by a nonprofit called Sesame Workshop, which isn’t affiliated with Disney or the Muppets.

No, that’s really not similar at all.

but, more important, we’re all laughing with her at you.

Indeed, you’ve created parody that’s indistinguishable from what it’s lampooning.

i dunno, i see someone is upset about something trivial and i just feel a compulsion to do something to “cheer them up.” :(
