When you consider that the girl would tell people who asked if she was doing alright that “everything is OK” during the period when she was being drugged and assualted, it will probably take quite a bit of time and counseling for him to say anything. Hopefully not years, though. It would be best for him to get it out

As a kid growing up in the 70's, I can assure you that Travolta was a huge star in my eyes (I’m a little older than Haims would be). Remember, Travolta’s TV show “Welcome Back Kotter” was very popular, and ran from ‘75 to ‘79. Of course, he was also huge star because of his movies “Saturday Night Fever” in 1977 and

Corey Haims did a movie with Kelly Preston (Travolta’s wife) in 1985 - “Secret Admirer”. Kelly met Travolta in 1987 while filming “The Experts”. Corey would have been 16 and Travolta have been 33 when Preston and Travolta met.

I followed that story when it first broke a few weeks ago. From the onset, it was heartbreaking; but now knowing what the mother did “because she enjoyed watching”, it took her cruel, heartless deviance to a whole new level of depravity. It was the girls 10th birthday...

You replied to Codename_SailorV, so I presumed you were referring to the article he referenced/linked...

Did you read the article that Codename_SailorV referenced (and the one referenced within that article)? Because if you did, you would see that the mother was actively involved in her daughter’s rape, murder, dismemberment and burning. SHE SOLICTED MEN (3 of them in total) TO SEXUALLY ASSAULT HER DAUGHTER BECAUSE SHE

My cat, Alex, suffered for the last few years of his life - all of which were years that the vets said he wouldn’t live to see. He had severe diabetes and a tumor that could not be removed. The steroids and other medications he was on caused other complications, and towards the end, he lost quite a bit of weight

He doesn’t. Try finding a picture of him with thinning hair. You won’t. Now, whether or not he dyes it is open for debate (he does).

Precedence.

Now playing

My mother is close to Hillary’s age and if this was my mother, I would be very concerned about the root cause. I’m not saying I think there’s something seriously wrong, but I would want to know. Apparently she lost a shoe under the van because she literally could not lift her legs.

Saw this video recently. The lady filming it was sitting there doing something on her phone (Pokemon Go?) when she noticed the bear approaching. She claims to have texted her son while the bear was nearby, and her son (over 6' tall, over 200 lbs) approached from behind, which is why the bear sauntered off.

Ugh...I didn’t bother to look up who was actually playing in the game before my reply. Considering the original tweeter (OT?) is a Georgia Bulldog, I assumed the “Georgia” on the sign was the U of GA, and did not consider Georgia Tech (who actually played).

Maybe you’re kidding, and maybe I’m wrong - but:

Hope it’s not too soon to tell you, but oh how I would have enjoyed being a fly on the wall when you were experiencing your cheesecaketastrophe! The range of emotions must have been spectacular! OMFG - the mess! the waste! the lost experiment! the denial of enjoyment! the fucking mess!!!

Your idea of cooking it in the same package in which you buy it is appealing for the obvious reasons of convenience, and not having to handle it raw and floppy. And, you’re right, bacon is soooo bad for so many reasons! But also, soooo good!

You’re very welcome! It can get pretty busy on some nights, so if you want a more laid back experience, go for lunch.

I dunno... I prefer to Sous Vide in a material that I know is BPA free. Cancer runs in the family, so I try to avoid cooking my bacon in plastic that contains BPA. Perhaps I should also quit eating the bacon, but that’s no fun!

YES! You can do bacon (whole slab). You will still need fry it afterwards for a crispy texture, but with far less fat and splatter.

Lived in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and used to take my out-of-town visitors to Scarlett O’Hara’s in St. Augustine, specifically for the gator...

We went to the San Diego zoo years ago and saw lions, monkeys, pandas, sloths, etc., etc. However, we spent the most amount of time watching the mountain goats doing aerial acrobats on the rocks. We were a group of 4, and we all thought they were the best thing the zoo had. Ever since, I’ve loved goats (and hate zoos)!
