The popular vote win means plenty. It just doesn’t win the presidency. Also, If you remove one state (Texas) Trump doesn’t have enough Electoral College votes. Or if you remove Kansas, USA looks like a very misshapen doughnut. We can play this game all day. Removing one state makes the whole thing moot.
