I remember always wishing my Fit had an extra gear. But also, they are quite underpowered so hitting the gas while in 6th gear, at highway speed would basically do nothing.

Personally, I find the opposite to be true. Reclining only moves the seat a degree or two and doesn’t result in much of an improvement in comfort for me.

I say remove the reclining all together. It doesn’t provide enough benefit for the recliner compared to the burden of the reclined upon to make it worth it.
