Is calling an Italian “Fredo” as extreme a racial slur as the N-word, a slur so offensive that people of other races dare not even utter it? Obviously not.

We’re supposed to hate Taylor Swift because she’s an independently wealthy woman. Everything else is window dressing.

They're making changes out of respect, not censorship. Not every edit is a "censor." People use the word too much.

Since launch, every new hero has been black, a woman, a robot, a hamster, or a combination thereof. What’s your problem?

Trying to shame her for these things is ludicrous.

Its ok to offend racists. Fuck them. Why would you worry about offending them?

Imagine being “offended” because your game includes PoCs and women. That’s not what’s happening here. It’s not like this game is going for a serious tone or historical accuracy. Let’s not “both sides” this crap with false equivalences.

I’d rather kowtow to people calling for an end to sexism, racism, and misogyny in my pretendy-funtime games than make a space where fucking racist alt-right neo-nazis feel comfortable, thanks.

Thanks for being one of the few people I read that actually gets it.

I think the lesser of 2 “evils” here is to let the babies deal with seeing a minority in their videogame.

I have been here for almost 13 years now, and this is one of the coolest things I have ever seen in a video game.

He didn’t say they were the same, he’s pointing out that the gacha mechanics you mentioned have always been present in the concept of Battle Royale.  Getting abilities that carry over to the next game would be a different point.

Do tell, what is a dispatch company and how do you get in touch with one in hapan?

No one has a job, oh but everyone has the money to buy outlandish clothes and the latest gadgets.”

It’s a game with free updates that come in regularly. They have to make money somehow since nobody is buying new copies of GTA5 at this point.

Yes, but you can’t carry that xbox around wherever you go if you travel a lot. Sheesh, it’s like people are actually refusing to consider that other people have different kinds of lives, like in every article with a gaming laptop there’s always gotta be that guy “hurr durr, you can get a monster of a PC at that price”

Jason, if you’re not careful, you might win a Pulitzer.

Seems like you may be pointing your finger at the wrong person, there; of course it’s ridiculous if pregnant women or elderly passengers get yelled at for drinking water, but that’s not this WMATA worker’s fault.

So - did this WMATA worker in particular yell at pregnant or elderly women? And were photos of these women tweeted so they could lose their jobs?
