Formula One has always been a story of the haves and have-nots but in the past a have-not with a revolutionary idea could jump to the top. Unfortunately, of late, the rules have eliminated creativity and rewarded execution. A team with more money is going to execute the formula better. (Unless they’re McLaren)

We plan to execute our Kill Switch (KS) for him

No arguments here, that’s one big trunk.

Why do you hate the military and America?

Sure! He was in my city for a comic-con, and I was working the event. I was assigned to stand by him-take photos for people with their phones, keep the line moving, etc. We struck up a flirtation and I was placed at his table all 3 days (I learned later on he’d requested I stay with him for the duration of the con).

I say that as someone who has actually had sex with Norman Reedus! He ain’t all that!!!

Hang on, Diane Kruger dated Joshua Jackson for 10 years and then decided to have a child with NORMAN REEDUS?

This is a good take, because as much as I adore del Toro, his Spanish language films are far superior to his Hollywood output. He’s one of my favorite directors, but I can’t really disagree with Dowd.

I don’t think there’s a single piece of Star Trek I’d give an A.

I don’t think Hell Boy is aging as well as fans of Del Toro want it to.

This is going to be REALLY controversial, but I’m gonna name Wes Anderson. He has an impeccable eye and sense of design and style, but at the expense of anything approaching warmth or spontaneity, because it is all so designed and arch and calls attention to itself, and more and more he has become wrapped up in

That is an extremely accurate assessment of Guillermo del Toro’s output. I think a big part of the problem is dialogue. Perhaps it’s different in his native Spanish, but none of his English-language films have anything approaching great dialogue. It’s always rather wooden and blunt.

Del Toro’s work might average out to “B+”, but that doesn’t mean he has one or two “A” efforts in his C.V. “Pan’s Labyrinth”, for example, is an A+ piece of art. It’s the result of a visionary artist firing on all cylinders.

This is an unbelievable post.

You have to admire their staunch opposition to changing tradition. They’re even going to go as far as not winning a World Series for the 70th season in a row.

Gotta love Trotsky Dude in there. He definitely read a book at least once!

The people responding to the protestors have a lot in common. I can’t white put my finger on it.

Now that the Red Sox and both Chicago teams have won Series’ recently we really need a fun name for Cleveland’s struggles that’ll bring back some of that fun Billy Goat-Bambino stuff that Baseball’s so good at.
