I made my peace with it, but the anime definitely missed something without him. That said, the Kalos arc has some really well animated battles and a solid overarching plot for a change, while Alola has been surprisingly enjoyable despite a change to a more humorous tone.

I understand it’s aggravating how much of a second thought the Paralympics is in regards to broadcasting as a consequence and perpetuation of the general marginalisation of disabilities, but the lack of Paralympic hurdles…

The video is well-intentioned, but the metaphor of jumping hurdles, not to mention the doubling down on athletic prowess, seems especially ableist in this context.

I am really far behind on LL and all series airing this season, but on the other hand, I finished Hunter x Hunter, which was an emotional rollercoaster. I am sad that Togashi will probably never finish the series, so it will never be a full adaptation, but Madhouse did some stellar work.
