Yeah, but does he have a Funskool-printed Charizard? Now those are elusive Pokémon Cards...
I’m glad he’s fulfilling the dream though!

You can thank Nomadic Dad for bizarrely choosing to buy a Top 40 One Hit Wonders album on a whim, proclaiming, “Dec and Little Nomad, you need to hear these”. And heard them we did. I believe it was the same weekend he stocked up on Slade CDs. That is:
Nicely done Ozimov. Yours was pretty damn amusing.
You too. Enjoy the weekend.
Yeah, sorry, I was double-guessing myself there. I’m so used to people slagging off India that I’m a bit tetchy about it. Also, my humour detector’s been a bit broken lately for other reasons. I also don’t particularly like how Simmons wrote honestly. It is a tightly woven horror though. Anyway, thanks for the…
Perhaps things have changed considerably since I was last there, but no, I’m not. The U.S. scares me considerably more as a brown person.
Okay, but can we talk about if it’s a racist representation of Kolkata or not?
Also, Kolkata is one of my favourite places in the world, or at least was. The odds of getting tortured and your baby kidnapped as just as high or low as they are anyway. I’d try my luck in Kolkata before most places major cities in the US.
Right, so, um, those songs are legitimately hilarious. Well, I guess I know what I’ll be doing this weekend...
(No, not Ray Bradbury...exhumation is a lengthy process.)
This looks equally serious work and amusing fun.
When Agent Stan Beeman in The Americans first started talking about “Angola”, I thought he was referring to the actual country, which made sense to me, giving the Civil War that was going on at the time had connections to both the USA, who was funding the South African invasion, and Cuba, who supported the MPLA.
Honestly, I’m now think it’d be funnier/ more awkward if it were:
And so it begins as I intended.
You know what excites me about S2 of Jessica Jones? Noticing the changes in what is a hopefully slightly altered title sequence done in the same style. I love it when series do that to show progression.
So, uh, this is about as awkward as Chris Christie standing behind The Drumpf at a political rally.
Plain and simple.
I would say Wall-E, but as I’m too emotionally drained from the contortions it has put my soul through throughout, I never feel the flood as much as the above. Solid choice though.
Preferably this Ken Marino.
That actually might be the best ending Pixar has ever done on a raw emotional, totally calculated to destroy you level, though I am partial to Toy Story 2's cheery ending as well. Toy Story 3 is in the same vein.
