I seriously want to be able to read Japanese just to be able to play the game.

Seriously, how do I get you out of the grey? EDIT: There we go.

I know, but I thought I would play it straight. After all, Barakamon is about calligraphy drying, no? *Shots fired. Sound the alarms.* In all seriousness though, I really like Barakamon.

I had a good chuckle; thank you. Who ever said low-hanging fruit can't be sweet and juicy?

Probably, though I'll be watching Chaika, Wixoss, Orenchi no Furo Jijou, Kiseijou and Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso instead.

As beautiful as the Monogatari series is, and as much as I enjoy philosophical discussion, I really am just not hooked by it. I also think the constant quick frames of text and art style is something my disability cannot handle because I get a headache after an episode or two.

Railgun is decent. Index is like watching paint dry.

As a six year-old I loved Pokemon, Digimon, Card Captor Sakura, Sailor Moon and Zoids (they came quite late to Australia c. 1998 to 2000 I think). Even with the (in retrospect) horrible dubs, I loved them, though I don't think I was aware of them being anime, because they were really the only "cartoons" that I watched

This is clearly setting up for next week's shocking announcement: a Wii U game starring Slowpoke! Everyone loves an underdog story.

After hearing of the atrocities of Azalea Town, Slowpoke the world over realise they can no longer lay low. Dropping the guise of dimwitted Pokemon that has allowed infiltration at all

American businesses came to a stand still today and collapsed upon themselves due to the labour force vanishing around 10 am EST. In other news, popcorn and taco sales have skyrocketed. This has been Kent Brockman and I'm going home.

Which manga? Kimi, Haru or Horimiya? Sorry, I'm not sure which part of the discussion you're replying to.

Yeah, I enjoyed Kimi Ni Todoke, but like that series, I feel this one will stall in the same manner i.e. they're incredibly sweet together, but aren't together, nobody wants to say it to the other person, and they still act awkwardly around each other all the time. For Kimi that made sense considering the characters,

It definitely sets the tone very well, but as a stand-alone song, it is great too.

Or just listen to it online: Heavenly blue is the song.

The series is quite pretty and the soundtrack's great, but the plot is quite conventional yet is executed well. Watch it, but don't expect twists or great character development. It's fun though.

So a pseudo-Lelouch Geass power, but using different tactics for each Karaphrakt? That would have given her a far more active role, which would have been good, as well as tying in with Inaho's unconventional methods.

I'm not sure what I was hoping her power to be used for or be, but I would have liked a more sweeping

The use of music synchronisation and animation are basically why I'm still watching the series.

Yeah, I prefer the single boy-girl development stuff as well, but Ao Haru Ride is bland compared to say Toradora (though it does have love triangles it's pretty clear that Taiga and Ruuji are going to be together and their friendship is well-developed) or Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (the anime finished too early, but it

It's actually an old latin phrase: Fiat justitia ruat caelum.

I'm impressed and pleased by how high up Nozaki-kun is. Hilarious series.

I don't understand how Blue Spring Ride is so high up - it's decent, and I watch it, but it's not exactly different to most shoujo.

I'm surprised that 9 to 6 aren't higher. I realise Akame is shounen-fare, but it's pretty solid as an adaptation;

True, though they do draw out the fate of the Eternal and LRIG for the middle four episodes, even when it's blindingly obvious. The LRIGs explain the rules, but don't actually mention what it really means to be an Eternal Girl till Yuzuki comes back.
