Also, as demonstration of her range:

Well remember with Episode VII on the horizon, there's bound to be a surge in Star Wars discussion that includes moaning about the prequels. To most people, they encapsulate everything that could potentially go wrong with with the new sequels, and so people are on edge. Hence, I imagine that by trying to re-edit and…
Serebii's put up a post that quotes Iwata as stating that the games are full remakes, albeit ones that probably have mega-evolutions.
I think collectible Pokemon would be a huge draw, particularly if it were somehow connected to OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire.
Depends on the country I suppose, but no, because I was thinking of the US fiscal year, which runs from October 1st the previous calendar year to September 30th of the present year, so it would be the 2015 fiscal year there. Even in Japan, their financial year runs from April 1st to March 31st the following year and…
Yeah I was thinking that after posting. It seems likely the way things are heading generally.
I understand completely. It is, quite literally, the only video game series I have the time or passion to invest in at the moment. Yes, I'll play Borderlands, Injustice, FIFA etc. on my little brother's console when I'm home , but I go out of my way for Pokemon. The love for it runs deep.
Honestly, I'm not sure there's sufficient nostalgia surrounding the remaining (as of yet) three Gens compared to the the first three to justify the resources used developing remakes nor guarantee that sales will be high. Remember that that graphical upgrades for each of these three sets of remakes have been…
It is that relativity that makes discussions like this so engaging. After all, most things in live revolve around the minutiae, even when discussing deeper concepts that supposedly transcend semantics. Things like why Gen 3 pawns Gen 4. :P
*I say this in jest, if that was not clear, which I hope it was...god, the…
How much do you want to bet that Gen 1 remakes are out in 2016, the 20th Anniversary?
Can't argue with that. Empoleon was a beacon in a bleak wasteland known as the Gen 4 starters.
I still don't acknowlege Arceus as MY "God" Pokemon...no God Pokemon could look that uncool. I'd rather praise Helix. Or Dome even. Yes I said it!
I prefer the gym leaders and most of the Pokemon in Kanto over Unova, but objectively speaking, Unova was a more interesting place to explore in terms of areas (though that may just be the graphics).
Sinnoh is clearly worse than Hoenn though.
While we're talking about lesser gens, I thought Gen 4 was pretty nondescript and lacking in the memorable Pokemon department. Also, Team Galactic was the least enjoyable villainous team the franchise will hopefully ever see. Even Team Flare supersedes them.
Fair enough, however there is merit to the simplicity and elegance of the first 252.
Oh yes, definitely, one of my desires is for the core games to be more plot-driven, or at least have a more involved plot.
I may be in a minority, but I thought Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia had pretty decent plots (Hell, I'll even admit to Ranger 1 being a favourite of mine). I'd even argue that Explorers of Time touched on some deeper themes. Yeah, I see what you're saying though, two out of…
I preferred Silver and Gold too (Silver being my all-time favourite...the remakes are close-behind) and as a child I found Ruby/Sapphire lacking as well. However, the probable source of the excitement was the full-colour rendering, a load of new Pokemon and the integration of the legendaries into the story (I remember…
He may be cheaply designed, but I love Muk.
Does the Pokemon Company rush any Pokemon title these days? While some may complain about the plots/lack there of, every Pokemon core and spin-off game since 2000 that I can think of has been exceedingly well-made. It's the reason Pokemon sells as well as it does.
