I must check this out! The man's brilliant, no doubt.

Though the first reveal of the Scourge Regalia uniform totally made up for the masochistic phrases beforehand. Damn that was a cool moment...

Right thanks, I'll give a proper go then :)

Yes! Mine too! The soundtrack for this series really elevated everything. But, again, Nui's theme was so eerily wonderful (plus she was my favourite character...though Gamagori and Mako are close seconds. Yours?)

What did you think of Wizard Barristers in the end? I thought the last three episodes were a bit of a letdown in terms of how they appeared to be setting up a deeper mystery. And that final battle was a bit bland.

Future Diary, Attack on Titan and Devil is a Part-Timer were addictive though. And I'm really getting into

In regards to the fan-service, while it may be excessive in some people's minds, it at least has some narrative importance. Although I'll give you the last couple of scenes before the credits; it was part of the plot, but totally gratuitous.

To be fair, each episode just obliterates the previous one in terms of stakes and over-the-top awesomeness so it shouldn't really spoil your viewing experience :)

Most enjoyable character. And her theme music. HER THEME MUSIC!!

It just sound cooler as "Kill la Kill"; "Dressed to Kill" is too generic sounding to do the series justice.

SPOILERS

Also was hoping Nui would have a proper "final" battle, because I genuinely loved her screentime, or maybe it was her theme music...either way.

I never thought I'd felt so sad about an article of clothing being destroyed.

The only bad thing about Kill la Kill is that there's not much chance of season 2.

As someone who was pretty new to watching anime before Kill La Kill, the endless ramping up of the stakes made this series incredibly enjoyable. Nothing was drawn out and the animation was impeccable. I also really liked how none of the characters fell by the wayside. The only problems I have now are not being able to

As someone who's seen Winter Soldier, the Cinema Sins count for that film will be even lower. It's a highly enjoyable film and I swear the easter eggs are worth the price of admission alone. And the plot itself is great.

Fairly sure I just trained up my Typhlosion until my 5-year old self could destroy her...god I miss Silver. Easily the most fun I've had in a Pokemon game.

Yeah I was reading Sepinwall's review as well and I think he pretty much nailed what I and most fans were thinking in that while Thomas and Bays obviously had their idea of the story, they failed to account for how the show altered (for the reasons Sepinwall mentioned) and how the audience were viewing events and

I'm not sure whether they would want to give the game away to viewers in regards to Tracy's death (the reactions to the foreshadowing in Time Travellers and a few episodes back alone caused a storm), but I do find it odd that they didn't appear to inform the other writers - particularly as most US sitcoms use

Thank you :)

Can I suggest an alternative finale? I don't think the plot points were the problem for the most part, but rather the execution. So here is my alternative plot sketch for the finale. The main plot is similar, but the flashbacks are extended.
