I’m not disputing the notion of a racial disparity here, but do you REALLY think Ray Rice got into trouble?
Paying her off and threatening her.
I’m not pregnant nor do I intend to be (for the reasons you mention, among others; power to you woman!) but I would love to take a period dump on his face. Cause that shit is the worst.
10/10 would love to see you do those things to that stupid motherfucker. Also so sorry your pregnancy is so tough.
As a currently pregnant person, I’d like to tell this man to fuck the fuck off with his host bullshit. I wanted this baby and pregnancy is miserable as FUCK. This isn’t hosting, this is being bled fucking dry by a goddamned alien (if you’re reading this in the future, little dude, just know that I mean every fucking…
Clearly, the woman is a hero/saint and doing the lord’s work. We commit his body. Amen
I dropped my therapist after he recommended a book from the author of “The Secret”
China Mieville is like a steampunk mushroom trip. I’m not a huge fan, but I respect him a great deal.
Sidenote: Ohhhh Magical Realism. I love Borges and Cortazar and Garcia-Marquez.
Here’s my review of Stephenson’s Anathem:
Snowcrash is one of my all time favorite books!
Neuromancer is phenomenal. It basically is the genesis of the whole cyberpunk genre of scifi.
I have! Snowcrash is excellent. As is Cryptonomicon. Never read Diamond Age, but a friend of mine has told me it’s excellent.
LOL that’s a pretty good way to weed out people though. She’s phenomenal. Have you read Oryx and Crake?
Have you read any Octavia Butler?? She’s my other favorite feminist sci fi writer.
hi!!!! sounds like our reading preferences are very similar... Have you read any of Neal Stephenson’s books? Snowcrash or The Diamond Age?
This is a very good book, well written and very enthralling. For reference, I am an “Ender’s Game” “World War Z” “American Gods” “Neuromancer” type of scifi geek, so it’s definitely something that, genre-wise, fits in for me, but even if dystopian future-type books aren’t exactly your thing, it is still definitely…
Also, the only thing I think of when I see multiple text notifications from the same person is “Holy shit, there’s an emergency”
As someone who went through a Holocaust memoir phase in middle school, I have to say that this sentence is pretty cool. Those books had a really strong effect on me.
