I’ve been driving for 30+ years and consider myself a reasonably good driver. But I don’t have the skills to drive this car. My reactions are set for normal cars, my butt is calibrated to a normal car.  I know that a car with 2-3 times the capability would bite me if I wasn’t careful and I know that I wouldn’t remain

Wait...you are telling me this happened at a Nissan dealer? No way!🤣

“Im not buying it new, let all the suckers take the depreciation hit, and I’ll buy it a few years later. My plan it fullproof!”

I have a small package delivery business

1st gear: Leave it to Honda to delude the CPO concept to point where it will be meaningless. It’s all soft language to make you feel better, and will inevitably make the entire CPO concept lose it meaning. People likely think this term means it’s a better car than a non-CPO car, but even the original concept of CPO

Faraday Future is, on paper, a car company, though it has never really made a car for production, and for years it’s been unclear why it still exists, though it still gets written about by news organizations, because it does still exist.

Could I use it for cargo? will it pass through customs like a diplomatic pouch ?

Hybrid engines definitely did not take away from the one race I’ve attended.

The Convoy did submit a permit to protest directly in D.C., but it was partially denied.

People with shitty eye sight that don’t necessarily do this sort of thing all day, every day.

Literally anyone with a trade job who needs accurate measurement, which is to say, a fucking lot of people.

Me. The answer is “me”.

If you have suggestions for markups.org, perhaps you should submit them at markups.org/contact.html instead of the Jalopnik kinja blackhole.

Retired electrician here. I’ve seen this happen a few times. I once wired a group of temporary office trailers on a school construction site. The power company shows up and hooks my little trailer village into the smallest pole transformer I had even seen. I ask the lineman what was going on? He tells me that it’s so

It’s a slooooooaaaaaow pump...

(If you’ve seen this episode of Tank Savvy Minute, you can skip it.)“

In the early 2000s I worked at a16 pump gas station, and the pumps would run slow when we had a lot of cars. It was enough of a problem that Corporate sent repair guys out several times. Filters got changed, pumps checked, all sort of stuff, with no effect. I have no idea how it was finally discovered, but the problem

The #1 cause of fuel pumps being slow is that I’m already late to wherever I’m heading.

The one that pisses me off most is when the pump shuts off every 5 seconds or so because that stupid fume cover thing isn’t seated right. Some are super sensitive and the slightest little misalignment freaks it out.

Growing up, my mom always used the local Grease Monkey for oil changes. One time she was pressed for time and asked me to take it there. I stood outside and watched.
