I bought Bayo 2 JUST for the costume changes, especially the Star Fox and Metroid, but the Peach/Bowser one was a nice addon as well! Pretty sure that’s gonna be something they carried over from the last game.

Bayonetta was shopped around to a fair number of developers following the first game INCLUDING Sony and Microsoft. They went “Nah fam, we cool.” Nintendo stepped up and said “We will pay for 2 and see how it goes.” 2 apparently did well enough that they paid for 3 and entered into a long term contract with Platinum…

This has been talked about at length since the announcement of Bayonetta 2. Literally nobody would fund it—Nintendo is the reason the Bayonetta sequels even exist.
Honestly? I’m not feeling them. Can’t decide if I like them more than the beehive, but I’m hoping there are alternate costumes in the game, hopefully one of them being her 2 look. She rocks short hair way more than long hair.
