I have not...but I have been friends with several actual Japanese people who have admitted that yes they are super judgmental against anyone not Japanese...as well as just looking at their culture without the “anime is super cool” filter.

Racism isn’t the right word I would say. They don’t even like Japanese people with different features. If your hair is the wrong color, they expect you to dye it. If you have visible tattoos, you’re automatically treated as a criminal. If your skin color isn’t quite the same as everyone else’s, they expect you to use

That’s a yes-and-no that I’d answer with, “Not entirely, and certainly not out loud.”

Errr, that wasn’t an animation error though. “Originally he was gay and black. And we actually drew him purple in his first show. But we thought it was too much so we just kept him gay.” Direct quote from Jay Kogen

You realize that people in Japan were the first ones to notice this, right?

Bea is absolutely tan. From her life style to the town she lives in the games. Also this is Japan. They don’t know or care about any this.

Non-Japanese fans of Japanese game: We are mad that a character from said Japanese game appears a slightly different shade of color in Japanese cartoon series based on same Japanese game!

“Urbosa? Another Gerudo sword user!? We already have enough of those!!!!” -Smash Fanbase.

if FE had something besides skinny sword-wielding anime teens

So much better than his game counterpart.

It is saying something when a villain makes Lysandre look good.

Actually it was much worse than that. Had it been a prettier FFXI it probably would have caught on in the original non-reboot version.

Imagine dumping hundreds into this game just for it to phase out of existence forever, leaving nothing behind but memories. And maybe some regret. (hopefully some regret)

There are so many Final Fantasy mobile games. I find it hard to believe they aren’t cannibalizing each other.

“Are you a boy or a girl?”

According to bulbapedia avery is a guy, and also apparently if you update shield to version 1.1.0 (probably the newest version i would think) you can find him at wedgehurst station. You can interact with him and he’ll talk about glaraian slowpoke. Once you catch the galar slowpoke nearby avery boards the train and

zacian has the power of god and anime on his side

I thought she was a he at first and the article seemed to agree...and then the article switches pronouns two or three times in the final few sentences and now I’m not sure.

Sword: Pokemon equivalent of Spencer’s Gifts employee

That take is scorching hot -- DLC does not mean a game is unfinished.
