Got what I wanted. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE on the Switch gives me a reason to play through that game again. Now, how about a remastered Persona 3 FES on Switch? And Final Fantasy VI?

I haven’t been excited by a game announcement in quite some time. Seeing that Divinity Original Sin II was on Switch I was excited. Seeing that it was releasing today at the end legitimately got an out loud HELL YES!!! from me.
Now that net neutrality is dead? Fat chance. I guarantee you every carrier has some sort of wording embedded in their agreement that allows them to shape traffic to ‘avoid congestion’ or whatnot and slowing down popular sites would fall under that umbrella.
As we all know, the law only applies to citizens, corporations only get in trouble if they get caught and enough people with money get mad about it.
I’ve found an extremely high correlation between “houston sux” guy and “lives in Katy and eats at Chili’s on I-10" guy. Try moving to civilization and you will find civilized things - as others have done.
The Houston XFL franchise already has better branding than the Texans, and they’ve existed for all of like *checks watch*... 45 minutes.
I get that not everyone (a) understands or (b) agrees with what, say, feminists do all the time. But there’s a distinct difference between a good faith attempt to engage and celebrating one’s ignorance:
Dude terminx and daedolon come off as really entitled broey jerks in those messages. The perfect toxic pair of, “I say edge shit” & “Because I don’t understand it, it’s stupid.” The whole discord seems filled with people who love to live in a state of purposeful misunderstanding because it fits their agenda.
Also, a…
It really *is* heartbreaking how Bernie tries so hard to be a good friend.
I’ve been talking to my therapist about not feeling good enough. I’ve finally accepted that the abuse I suffered wasn’t my fault, and I’m not really ashamed anymore. But it’s like I stand apart from people who’ve never been there. Listening to people share common experiences, like stories about adolescent relationships…
This is a powerful article, Gita, thank you for sharing.
My favorite Fire Emblem game is Path of Radiance, and I love it for the characters. I enjoy Awakening and Fates as turn based strategy games, but it was hard to get invested in the supporting cast. Path of Radiance never had that problem for me and the interactions between characters felt much more carefully…
I love sjrpgs but could never finish a fire emblem game. This game however has consumed every second of my free time. Besides Final Fantasy tactics, this game is one of the best of the bunch. In fact this game feels like what FF tactics would have evolved too if they kept making them. Gonna be GOTY for me honestly.
I should add a correction, Marianne loves her real father who died while she was young (and from whom she inherited the Crest of the Beast). Her adoptive father however is a more complex story.
I haven’t played the game yet, but damn if it doesn’t resonate. One of my greatest struggles is feeling “good enough” for anyone or anything. People tell me I apologize too much. But I spent my youth and too damn long later in an abusive marriage being told regularly what a failure I was and that I wouldn’t be good…
great article, though I want to clarify something. Marianne actually loves her father. Hes an adoptive father that doesn’t share her burden, which is possessing the crest of beasts, but he tried to protect her from a world that hated and feared her for having it. Her self loathing was inflicted by those outside her…
...white people...
I started with the Golden Deer for my first playthrough thinking “Eh, I like the characters from the other houses more, but it’s worth it for Claude.”
Meanwhile, Smash Ultimate, while it has characters that are weaker than others, has made it so no one or two characters dominate the metagame. Fuck, Pokémon Trainer, of all characters, almost won the whole thing.
