I think World is gonna prove to divide the community between those who adore World and those who prefer OG Mon Hun. Well, divide it even more so then it already has been, given that I’ve avoided the Mon Hun sub reddit for months now as well as any board about Mon Hun.

I’m one of those people who have been begging for a next-gen since Tri was originally announced for PS3 and then switched to the Wii. I got four of my friends that never played Monster Hunter and they all loved the beta, and two of them usually don’t like Japanese style games at all. I have high hopes for World.

Yeah, but as someone who did import it and doesn’t speak Japanese, it’s a royal pain in the ass to look up stuff constantly. There’s resources but it really is a gigantic pain.
